Pokémon and Target are moving the 30th anniversary collection past Kanto with a second drop built around Johto, Hoenn, and a much larger mix of fan gear. The full Pokémon x Target Drop 2 collection releases June 6th, landing in stores at opening and online at 8 AM CT.
The Johto and Hoenn Starter Jackets are the main pieces this time around. Johto comes in Gold with Silver and Crystal accents, matching the second-generation games. Hoenn gets the louder palette, using Ruby red, Sapphire blue, and Emerald green from the third-generation titles.
Both jackets keep the detail that made the Kanto version such a quick talking point. Each one has its region’s eight gym badges hidden inside the pouch pocket. The Johto and Hoenn jackets release online only on June 6th at 8 AM CT, while a preorder opens June 7th at 8 AM CT for Johto, Hoenn, and a restock of Kanto. Preorder jackets are expected to ship in December 2026.
Pokémon x Target Drop 2 also stretches well beyond jackets, with more than 40 items across apparel, accessories, collectibles, travel pieces, and summer goods. Pokédex-style tees feature Snorlax, Munchlax, Pichu, and Psyduck, each with hidden artwork revealed when turned inside out. Hoodies and crewnecks with “Gotta Catch ’Em All!” branding will be available in adult and kids’ sizes.
Eevee, Mew, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, and Ditto appear across bag charms, caps, and other accessories. The lineup also includes a black tote, matching backpack, 151-piece puzzles, holographic posters, an Instant Print digital camera, waterproof Dive Ball speakers, Snorlax and Poké Ball beach towels, and Water-type-inspired summer gear.
Target will limit purchases to one unit per item, per guest, both online and in stores.
