Nike’s venom-themed Air Max collection now explores Night-Course vibes with the introduction of the Air Max Plus “Scorpion.” Darkening previous colorways, this fresh color scheme utilizes a blacked out base, metallic silver accents, and hints of blue. Expected Street date is Summer 2026, and will be priced at the usual $180 USD.
Obsidian covers the entire mesh upper, building upon the silhouette’s minimalist vibe while still allowing Nike to highlight the classic ribbed structure of the Air Max Plus. Tuned Air shape and wavy cage system is coated in metallic silver plating, creating a sleek look that mimics the aggression of past Air Max Plus models. Black gloss details shine on the toe and mudguard, staying true to color scheme and not interrupting the darkness of the upper.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Scorpion” finds its venom-inspired swagger with blue accents placed on the small side Swooshes and blue traction pods on the outsole. Bright yellow shines on the visible parts of the sole and “Tn Air” badgeing while dashes of red are worked into the sole and brandings on the insole.
The shoe features a small scorpion logo embroidered on the tongue patch. The badge doesn’t overpower the design and leaves enough room to focus on the theme while remaining subtle. It features a black, hex-style border with a white scorpion graphic encased inside. On the inside of the shoe, Nike put a small splash of red in the insole artwork, though it can only be seen if looking down at foot.
