The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Mocha” is undoubtedly the shoe that started it all for Travis’ legacy with Jordan Brand.
Released in May of 2019 for $175, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Mocha” reinvigorated the classic AJ1 without taking away from what made the shoe so beloved. The use of white leather, brown suede overlays, and a gigantic reversed Swoosh on the lateral side gave the shoe an immediately unique look. This upside-down Swoosh has since become one of the most replicated and talked about details in sneaker culture.
Another touch was the addition of Cactus Jack branding on the shoe. This consisted of Nike Air tongue labels, mismatched insoles, a standard Swoosh logo on the medial side and Scott’s signature hand drawn face logo embossed on the heel. A secret stash pocket hidden in the ankle collar added another desirable trait to the pair, giving collectors another reason why it felt like more of a collaboration instead of just a color swap.
Jordan Brand and Travis Scott have released multiple other pairs since then, predominantly through the Air Jordan 1 Low. The partnership continues to be strong today, releasing the “Pink Pack” colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Low on May 29, 2026. However, the original “Mocha” High will always be remembered as the shoes many associate with the beginning of that Cactus Jack era.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Mocha” is no longer available at retail, but pairs can still be found through resale platforms like StockX. Prices will depend on size, condition, and market demand, but its impact is already set.
