Stone Island and New Balance are pushing their football-centered project beyond apparel with the Stone Island x New Balance 1890 “Deep Forest,” a new collaborative sneaker releasing June 4, 2026. The pair will launch through Stone Island in unisex sizing with a $250 USD retail price.
The release is part of a larger Stone Island x New Balance collection timed around the World Cup, which also includes a second 1890 colorway, co-branded clothing, and a soccer cleat. For New Balance, the 1890 gives the collaboration a fresh platform instead of leaning on another familiar lifestyle model.
Forest green ripstop mesh sets the tone across the upper, giving the shoe a technical look that fits Stone Island’s design language.
Cream accents appear on the side “N” logo and Stone Island compass badge on the tongue. A shaggy black suede heel panel breaks up the green base with a rougher texture, while woven green laces and co-branded insoles finish the design.
Football-inspired footwear has been gaining more space in lifestyle releases, and this project fits right into that lane.
