adidas is reimagining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’ earliest signature sneakers in their wildest form with the Jabbar “Animal Pack” for Spring/Summer 2026. The silhouettes will arrive in both a High and Low cut with animal prints and faux fur taking center stage.
The High version primarily features black and white as zebra print dominates the side panels and dotted overlays pepper the heel and bottom sock. Black fur is used to cover the Three Stripes, eyestay, toe box and collar, adding texture while maintaining the original Jabbar’s sleek silhouette. An off-white midsole gives the shoe a worn look while a classic black tongue label keeps the adidas branding understated.
The Low receives brown and black faux- fur accents while welcoming warmer tan leopard-inspired panels to the mix. The Jabbar Low reads more like a simple lifestyle shoe than an honest-to-goodness retro basketball sneaker and that’s perfectly fine. After all, adidas has been bringing the silhouette back into their casual lineup quite a bit as of late.
Animal print sneakers tend to make a comeback every few years, especially when brands begin to dig up old ’00s-era archives. This adidas Jabbar “Animal Pack” will fit that category while maintaining signature aspects of the silhouette.
