The New Balance 9060R Preps For Summer And Beyond

Reduce, reuse, recycle has been the mandate for New Balance, and we’re not talking about going green. No, distilling, reimagining, and reformatting already existing technology and design has been the story of so many of the Boston brand’s biggest successes and top-line priorities. The 1906R and 2002R built their empires off of the 860v2’s sole unit, before the 1890 and an upcoming Ronnie Fieg invention reached back to the OG 2002 for unmissable designs in 2026.

The New Balance 9060 has been among the most visible products coming out of the American company throughout its revitalization in the last decade, and trust it hasn’t been spared from the same treatment. Following a future-forward variation and a thinned-out one, the New Balance 9060R has captured the imagination of its devotees by reaching for another fan-favorite. Taking cues from the upper design of the New Balance 993, the 9060R preps for a wide debut with a new set of three colorways, all having already touched down on global sites.

Running the gamut through earthy overtones, this set of New Balance 9060R colorways dips into the more “traditional” style we’re used to seeing on the parent model. Suede and mesh compositions are the chief way NB achieves that, with the “Enoki” and “Dry Lime” colorways using sprightly green and neutral bases for balanced profiles. If you’re already prepping your wardrobe for the fall, it’ll be the “Black Coffee” that calls your name, blending together a more refined palette of browns, tans, and blacks.
