Salehe Bembury is back at it again—this time remixing the classic New Balance 1000 with his wild style.
The New Balance 1000 originally dropped in 1999 but made a big return in 2024. Now, it’s getting a new look thanks to Bembury. Known for pushing design limits, he adds flair, texture, and a splash of his Be A Spunge creativity.
This upcoming pair features a wild mix of blue, volt green, olive, and fiery red. The upper combines shiny synthetic materials, hairy suede, and layered mesh. You’ll also find rugged tread underfoot and ABZORB cushioning to keep things comfy.

UPDATE 6/18/25: A first look at the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000 “Blue” has surfaced. This wild, colorful pair features a vibrant mix of synthetic layers, suede, and mesh. It is one of two colorways expected to release in Fall 2025. Expect premium detailing, signature Bembury flair, and bold contrast throughout the upper.
