For skaters, “Jackass” fans, and “Viva La Bam” binge watchers, the Bam Margera redemption arc is simply beautiful. The youth skate phenom turned MTV celebrity is the healthiest he’s been in years, crediting much of his new lifestyle to getting back to his roots on the board. That return has now produced a sneaker collaboration with Jamie Thomas’s Fallen Footwear, and based on the reception, fans are already craving more.
Delivering 2000s nostalgia for days, the Bam Margera x Fallen Footwear collection includes the brand’s Corsair, Heritage, and Bomber models alongside a complete apparel line. The sneakers arrive in Bam’s signature black and purple, a go-to combination for anyone familiar with his run on TV, and carry his Heartagram logo borrowed from the band HIM. In a reflection of the motion he still has, all three styles sold out just hours after dropping on September 9th.
Margera had a number of signature models with skate brand Adio in the 2000s, but the more interesting chapter of his sneaker history dates back to the pre-Nike SB era. Bam was one of a small group of skaters Nike tapped to test its first true skate shoes, namely the Baldspot and prototype ACG models the brand though suitable for skating. Margera notoriously hated them, opting instead to put Swooshes on his preferred éS shoes.
The Bam Margera x Fallen shoes have already sold out, so your best bet at securing a pair likely lies in the aftermarket. Select apparel pieces are still available HERE.
