Here’s What Jordan Brand Previewed At New York Fashion Week

Jordan Brand took advantage of New York Fashion Week to give media an early look at a select group of releases coming later this year.

At a special gifting and preview suite in New York City, Jordan showcased pieces from its Holiday 2026 apparel collection alongside five upcoming Air Jordan Retro releases. This isn’t the entirety of what Jordan Brand has planned for the final quarter, but rather a curated selection of pairs the brand chose to put in front of media for a first-hand look.

The group mixes true originals with returning Retros and entirely new colorways, with releases stretching from October through December. Sneaker News was on hand to check them out, so peep a recap of the event below as a quick rundown of the upcoming footwear. Full details can be found on our regularly updated Air Jordan Release Dates page.

Air Jordan 4 “Bred”

It doesn’t get much more important than this. The original Air Jordan 4 “Bred” returns on Black Friday, once again bringing back the black, grey, red, and white combination Michael Jordan wore during “The Shot” in 1989. This time around, Jordan Brand is leaning heavily into authenticity with a shape and material execution intended to closely replicate the original, right down to the exposed white edges that give vintage pairs their distinctive appearance. The Air Jordan 4 “Bred” releases November 27th in full-family sizing.

Air Jordan 12 “Fireside”

Jordan Brand appears ready to tell a little Christmas story with its upcoming “Fireside” series, centered around the imagery of Santa Claus coming down the chimney to leave presents beneath the tree. This Air Jordan 12 combines a white leather upper with brown mudguards and matching soles, creating a warm, seasonal palette. And yes, the comparisons to SoleFly’s “Cafecito” Air Jordan 12 are completely fair, because the color-blocking is remarkably similar. Look for the “Fireside” on October 24th in full-family sizing.

Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green”

For those who remember the mid-2000s Jordan Retro era, this one’s an easy sell. Originally released in 2005, the Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” has developed something of a cult following in the two decades since. There isn’t much trickery behind the appeal, either: crisp white leather dominates the upper while Forest Green provides just enough contrast throughout. Sometimes a good colorway really is that simple. The long-awaited Retro returns October 31st in adult and grade school sizing.

Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento”

Perhaps the history lesson of the group arrives via the Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento.” Originally arriving in limited quantities in 1995 as part of Jordan’s effort to broaden the sneaker’s reach while Michael Jordan was away from basketball, the colorway was loosely associated with the Sacramento Kings through Mitch Richmond, who wore Air Jordan player exclusives during an era that actually predates Jordan Brand itself. More than three decades later, one of the more obscure original Air Jordan 10 releases is finally coming back on December 5th.

Air Jordan 5 “Halloween”

Jordan Brand isn’t waiting until Christmas to get into the holiday spirit. The Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” goes almost completely dark with a black upper before bright red-orange accents inject some appropriately sinister contrast. The finishing touch comes underneath with glow-in-the-dark outsoles — because if you’re making a Halloween sneaker, you might as well fully commit to it. The Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” releases October 17th.
