Given how frequently they enter the collab ring, it’s hard to imagine that there are brands that atmos has never come face-to-face with. Sustaining partnerships with New Balance, adidas, Nike, Hoka, Reebok, Salomon, Clarks, and seemingly everyone in between, the Japanese imprint is making their first foray into the world of Saucony.
Those with a particular eye on atmos’ moves will know that much of their “first looks” and teasers come from the social media feed of Hirofumi Kojima, creative director and frequent poster of their upcoming projects. His latest dump was a wide-reaching one, including previews for the adidas ZX line, a “Ying Yang” New Balance 2000 duo, and the product tag for an ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1. Of course, its the Three Rivers brand we’re concerned with here, as a look at an ostnesibly “Flamingo” themed pair includes a co-branded insole. From this one angle, we can also pick out black trim, yellow pops, and an overridingly pink colorway to align with the aquatic avian. It’s tough to make out exactly what silhouette is in use here beyond one of Saucony’s stable of throwback runners, but the tongue pints to this being a ProGrid Omni 9.
