A new NBA season is on the horizon, and with the yearly schedule that so many brands operate on when it comes to hoops shoes, so too is a new silhouette for many of the game’s biggest stars. When it comes to the Jumpman, they’ve given serious attention and resources to the impending Jordan Tatum 5, enlisting the man himself for a New York reveal of the silhouette and making it a real focus of a sprawling trip through Shanghai around “The One Finals.”
The “Sunrise” colorway will open the story for the Tatum 5, a purple and pink rendition that pays homage to the Boston skyline at dawn. Of course, the most significant development on the model remains the added strap, bolstering containment for the shoe while still keeping an eye on overall lightness.
Fans in China will get the first crack at the Jordan Tatum 5 “Sunrise,” releasing in the region on September 24th. A US release is set to follow on October 15th.
