A Brief History of The adidas Jellyfish
First appearing on Pharrell’s feet during Paris Fashion Week in January of this year, the Jellyfish gained instant fanfare for its animated design that is best described as an exploded form of the adiStar Cushion 3 running shoe. The Jellyfish stands out for its floating dimensions intended to appear like the tentacles of an oceanic jellyfish, while the exaggerated exoskeleton of the model achieves a wide-bodied chunky design.
The Jellyfish Hits Paris Again
In the recent Paris Fashion Week in June, adidas once again brought the Jellyfish into the fold. In addition to the striking orange colorway, adidas debuted a new grey colorway of the silhouette on the feet of Pusha T and Malice of The Clipse. Other Spring/Summer 2026 colorways were also revealed that week in all-black and white/royal blue.
Where To Buy The adidas Jellyfish
The Pharrell adidas Jellyfish shoes are expected to launch on August 15th, 2025 with a $300 MSRP. Currently, a store list has not yet been revealed, although the shoes are likely to launch through the adidas Confirmed App’s Draw procedure. We’ll update you more as we approach the release date.
