adidas Samba Sporty and Rich JQ1353

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Almost in the way that Nike looks to A Ma Maniere or New Balance looks to Aime Leon Dore, adidas’ work with Sporty and Rich typically revolves around outfitting staple or rising models with the brand’s refined design language. Similarly to those aforementioned relationship, the product also comes fast and furious out of their shared catalog; just in 2025, we’ve seen the NYC imprint take over the adidas Blanc, adizero adios, Handball Spezial, and adistar Cushion. As the canon only grows, where better to utilize the Sporty and Rich touch than a true icon, the adidas Samba.

Utilizing trademark green and the refined navy that’s made repeat appearances in the Sporty and Rich backlog, the label essentially brings contrast coloring onto the well-established “default” look of the Samba. To that end, we see a flat white foundation and off-white trim on the suede toe cap and leather liner, matched with the timeless gum sole underfoot. Then for the special edition touches, a two-tone deployment of the ribbon branding on the quarter, where the “Sporty and Rich” mark replaces the usual adidas text. At the risk of belaboring the point, it’s not a total reinvention of the silhouette, but one that carries the overall refinement that the partners have championed every step of the way.

Concrete release information for the Sporty and Rich adidas Samba hasn’t surfaced just yet, but generally expect a debut sometime in the coming weeks. Catch official images embedded below, and while you wait, keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for any launch updates as we receive them.
