adidas continues to innovate with the “Glory Grey” ClimaCool, a new iteration of 3D-printed designs.
Constructed with a completely perforated, lattice-like upper, the shoe combines technical performance with an eye-catching, all-grey, one-tone design. Branding is built into the side for visual identity and added support with 3-Stripes integrated into the lateral.
The shoe first debuted as a laceless version, but the new update sees the addition of the classic tongue and lacing system for even more fit customization from sneakerheads. The complete grey tonal finish accentuates the form-fitting structure, with some black accents from the tongue and lacing system for subtle contrast.
The adidas ClimaCool Laced “Glory Grey” drops on August 15th via adidas.com and select retailers for $160 USD.
adidas has tested out 3D-printed designs on previous silhouettes before, but the ClimaCool Laced impresses in comfort for day-to-day wear with an incredibly lightweight design. It could be a sneak peek into the future of more performance-minded sneakers.
