Salomon Readies The XT-Whisper Void For An Inline Introduction

Any footwear fans can readily recognize when a brand is introducting a new model; often a handful of collaborative efforts will introduce consumers in high-profile fashion before the shoe steps into the larger catalog alongside its peers. Though Salomon largely earned their current cultural purchase on their own two, they’ve dipped into that formula for their newest formulation, the Salomon XT-Whisper Void.

First brought to the public with the help of London singer Ama and British retailer END. Clothing, the XT-Whisper Void is now ready to kick off its unassisted chapter. While it shares the same shape and overall silhouette as its parent model, the XT-Whisper Void innovates chiefly by pushing the synthetic curvilinear overlays into a thin full-length cage, wrapping the entire mesh upper in Sensifit tech. In addition to materially changing the composition of the shoe, it does allow for bolder aesthetic choices as well, with man of htese debut looks boasting a color-changing iridescence, either spotlighted like on the “Silver Metallic X” or subtle like on the “Alloy.”

The XT-Whisper Void releases in a quartet of colorways on August 20th: “Vanilla Ice,” “Liberty/Astral Aura,” “Black/Silver Metallic X,” and “Alloy/Castlerock.” Each clock in with a $160 retail price in women’s sizing.
