LaMelo Ball PUMA Minnesota Timberwolves

Look out, Minneapolis. LaMelo Ball has landed in the Twin Cities. Minnesota all of a sudden owns one of the most exciting backcourts in the NBA following a stunning offseason trade that sent the “1 of 1” shooter to the Timberwolves, pairing with Anthony Edwards in an unexpected change of the team’s play style. As he begins settling in, PUMA has done plenty to proclaim the young star’s arrival.

First and foremost is LaMelo Ball’s inagural Timberwolves photoshoot. The former Rookie of the Year laced up the PUMA MB.05 Lo “All-Star” for the occasion, pairing that flashy black-dominant colorway with the Wolves’ black pine tree trim jersey.

But one need not be a social media sleuth to be aware of Ball’s arrival. PUMA has also put up a billboard in Minneapolis, working LaMelo’s “1 of 1” moniker into “Minnesota” text. All parties involved are no doubt hoping LaMelo’s play is impressive enough to warrant such a splashy arrival.
