Devin Booker has always had a social media presence that makes even the most curated aesthete blush. For followers of his profile, fans of his game, or true collectors, the crown jewel in that overall arrangement is still his love for vintage automobiles, an interest that’s continued to take center stage even within his Nike signature line. Following the reveal of the Chevy Book 2 “Pretty Penny,” a “Red Stardust” colorway adds to what’s expected to be a four-pair collection when all is said and done.
Booker’s 1958 Chevrolet Impala and its pastel paint job inspire this second pair, sharing the same overall material build from its predecessor but adding a stripe of three stars on its heel counters. White midsoles as well as striped pull tabs and eyelets help break up that monochromatic scheme, as do the chrome hits on the Swooshes to round out this Nike Book 2 variation.
While the Chevy Book 2 “Pretty Penny” is just days away at the time of this writing, fans of the collaboration will have to wait a while longer to get their hands on this pair.
