Nike Air Max Dolce Metallic Silver IB4527-001

Nike has revived a cult classic from one of its most avant-garde eras in the Air Max Dolce, a 2002 silhouette now returning to the spotlight following a recent Comme des Garçons collaboration. This upcoming “Metallic Silver” colorway captures the retrofuturistic spirit of the original particularly well, arriving in women’s sizing for Fall 2026.

Born from one of Nike’s most experimental periods, the Air Max Dolce, whose name translates to “sweet” in Italian, filters Air Max performance footwear through the language of traditional Italian shoemaking. Its slip-on construction and moc-toe shape lend the model a refined foundation, while visible cushioning and molded synthetic elements pull it firmly into the future. The logic behind its return is easy to follow. Sneaker culture remains deep in a loafer-hybrid phase, with technical crossovers and deliberately unconventional silhouettes thriving amid a broader appetite for strange, even purposefully “ugly” footwear. This “Metallic Silver” pair leans fully into that attitude, pairing a brushed metallic upper with a grey TPU forefoot and black detailing across the lining and sole, the latter housing visible Air cushioning.
