The Vans Old Skool Pearlized is returning in a new red colorway, continuing the popular interpretation of the classic silhouette that mixes the Old Skool’s grungier tendencies with some decidedly elegant embellishments.
Red takes over the upper, with suede covering the toe, heel, and lace collar while canvas fills in the remaining panels. From there, the “Pearlized” treatment provides the real attraction. Pearl embellishments decorate the toe and heel, appear across the tongue, and even trace Vans’ signature side stripe for a look that dramatically transforms the familiar skate staple.
It’s the contrast that continues to make the Pearlized Old Skool and Vans’ revived lifestyle brand as a whole work.
