Vans Partners With Harris Tweed On Another Bohemian Old Skool

No sneaker brand has embraced the “boho-chic” revival quite like Vans. The SoCal label has captured the countercultural aesthetic that first surged in the mid-2000s through a steady run of statement-making releases, namely its “Souvenir,” “Pearlized,” and “Ibiza” series. Its latest headline-worthy effort comes with an assist from Scotland’s Harris Tweed, bringing tartan fabrics together with several recognizable details from Vans’ recent catalog.

Both the base and Jazz Stripe are dressed in tartan tweed, the former appearing in blue and the latter in a reddish-brown. Harris Tweed tags surface in two places, first on the tongue and again on the lateral side via metal pin.

From there, the design pulls together elements from several recent Vans standouts in something of a “What The” fashion. Metal spikes at the heel create a throughline to the recent Vans Authentic “Ibiza” pack, while red and green gems along the Jazz Stripe recall the brand’s “Pearlized” releases. Multiple metallic charms, including peace signs and Vans logos, connect the shoe to Vans’ viral, Chanel-inspired “Souvenir” or “Charms” series. Pre-scuffed sidewalls add even more character underfoot. Quite impressive.

The Vans Old Skool “Harris Tweed” is expected to release Fall 2026 through Vans and select retailers. Pricing has not yet been announced, though something in the $100 to $150 range seems likely given the premium materials involved.
