As one of the foremost Reebok endorsees on a global level, of course Karol G represented on that stage. Shown here is a one-of-one custom version of the Reebok Freestyle Hi, exaggerated in its proportions and adding a knee-high sheath to become a statement boot. Crafted with the help of the Sole Surgeon, it additionally adds space age silver leather to align with the Colombian multi-hyphenates costume and stage design.
Those with an interest in Reebok’s history will know that though taking on a different venue, this is far from the first time they’ve taken a big swing in adapting their classics. Immediately it calls to mind the “Alien Stomper” series visited on multiple occasions, paying homage to their footwear appearing in the classic sci-fi flick.
