The Nike Giannis Immortality 5 is on the way for Summer 2026, giving Giannis Antetokounmpo’s budget-friendly line another sharp update at a time when his future in Milwaukee remains one of the NBA’s biggest storylines. While Giannis has not officially moved on from the Bucks, the uncertainty around the franchise has only added more attention to everything tied to his name, including what is next from Nike Basketball.
The pair keeps the line moving in a familiar direction, but the design still brings a fresh look. Its upper carries over the molded feel seen on the Freak 7, though the shape here looks smoother and more streamlined. Ridged lines run across the sidewalls and heel, giving the shoe a fast, sculpted appearance that feels built for Giannis’ powerful style of play without losing the everyday appeal that has helped the Immortality series connect with hoopers.
A bold Barely Volt finish takes over the entire shoe and gives this pair a loud on-court presence. Black accents on the Swoosh, lining, laces, tongue, and outsole break up the bright upper and push the “Warning Label” energy even further. Speckles around the midsole transition provide another lethal blow as herringbone-esque traction meets rounded multidirectional bite zones engineered for rapid cuts and dribbles.
Nike uses lightweight mesh and synthetic materials across the shoe while we’ll likely see Immortality continue that comfort-centric formula we’ve seen in past iterations.
