There’s never a dull moment in the life and times of LaMelo Ball. Among the hottest teams in the league after the All-Star break, posting an all-time mark in margin of victory that spoke to their ability to tear the roof off when their offense clicked. Despite that, it was a squeaker against the Heat that kept their hopes alive before the Magic dashed them entirely. Yet to paraphrase the great Pat Riley, there’s 29 losers this time of year; overall, it’s a season that should provide a foundation for the young Hornets moving forward.

Once the 2026-27 campaign gets started, LaMelo will likely be wearing the PUMA MB.06, but the summer ahead offers plenty of opportunity for the MB.05 to make its mark before the curtains close. As we’ve recently covered, the PUMA MB.05 Lo offers some “new shoe smell” in that regard, yet the Mid will remain a factor. Here shown is a “Stainless” colorway, offering an aggressive blend of conceptually tied grey hits and a fired-up, glossy digital camo at the base.

The PUMA MB.05 “Stainless” is already available on global PUMA sites. However, seeing as we’ve uncovered several colorways with release dates between April and June, this likely tacks onto the end of that range. Expect the usual $130 retail price in adult sizing once touched down.
