Nike is revisiting its familiar smiley face concept with a playful lifestyle pack for summer, teeing up youthful, energetic takes on two of its most ubiquitous models.
The Air Force 1 Low and Dunk Low both take the stage, sharing the same key branded hits. The backtabs feature stitched, multicolor, letter block-style “Nike” text over black patent leather, while additional stitched smileys land on the lateral side of each shoe. The Air Force 1 leans more reserved, anchored by a white pebbled leather upper and a chunkier Swoosh the brand has used sparingly in the past. The Dunk Low goes more expressive, complete with Hydrogen Blue overlays, stacked Flash Crimson Swooshes, and glow-in-the-dark outsoles.
The Nike “Smiley Face” pack is currently on Champs’ release calendar for May 23rd. See retailer images of both styles below if you’re considering copping.
