Buckle up.
The firs tof the month is crowded no matter what part of the calendar we’re turned to, but this is a mega-sized week in terms of both quantity and quality. Our headline barely scratches the surface; the Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” joins the Air Jordan 6 “Cap and Gown,” and the Nike Mind 001/002 efforts belie a NIGO Air Force 1, Jurassic Park Ja 3, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Banned,” and the Nike A’Two below the surface for Beaverton.
Zooming out from Oregon, this week also brings the wide luanch of a Sneaker of the Year contender in Joe Freshgoods’ New Balance 1890, paired with a delivery from New Balance’s seasonal Made in USA collection. adidas is plenty busy as well, linking up with Miaou and Edison Chen among inline efforts, while further moves like the Undefeated Converse collab and a new Angel Reese release keep things exciting for other imprints.
Longtime watchers of this column will know that the start of the month means a change in our approach. For May 1st releases, you’ll find basketball in its own gallery, with “everything else” before it in its own section. Otherwise, the script remains the same.
Catch day-by-day breakdowns below of everything notable in the next few days via the images below. Underneath each section, you’ll find hyperlinks that lead back to our original coverage. Follow those for respective “Where To Buy” sections containing pick-up links upon arrival. We’ll keep this page current with any late-breakers, but to ensure you’re entirely up to date, watch our Sneaker Release Dates and Air Jordan Release Dates hubs.

A rarity for this week, April 27th has just one shoe on offer: the adidas Sneaker Politics LA Trainer for a celebration of festival culture.

April 28th doubles that, as the second step in the Undefeated Converse Chuck 70 “Dodgers” story heads to the West Coast. The Nike Air Max 90 “Coconut Milk/Deep Royal Blue” then delivers a fabric-heavy revamp of Tinker Hatfield’s design.

April 29th sees the launch of yet another new design from the Boston brand, as the New Balance TF100 lifts off. The Hello Kitty Crocs capsule is next up, this time offering Swarvoski charms in addition to the base Clogs.

April 30th is when we truly take off, as the Air Jordan 6 “Cap and Gown” and Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” go back-to-back for JB. A dominant storyline throughout 2026, more Nike Mind 001 + Mind 002 colorways make their entrance. Then it’s back to Boston; the Joe Freshgoods New Balance 1890 sees a wide launch, while more from the Made in USA Spring/Summer collection comes with the New Balance 992 “Sea Stone” $200 and New Balance 1300 “Drift Red.” The German giant gets on the board via the Miaou Megaride, and for those in Asia, the adidas Samba Bowling collection throws a strike. Back to Beaverton for two murdered-out looks, the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 Black and Air Liquid Max Black, before Reebok takes us the distance with the Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Gala Green” and Reebok Brutus Lo “Light Fog.”

May 1st (lifestyle/football) starts on the gridiron, as Deion Sanders’ DT Max 96 Low begins its shortened story. The Air Jordan 4 “Infrared 23” offers a new take on an old classic shade, and two dueling tech-minded silhouettes get off new pairs: multiple colorways are in store for the adidas Climacool, Laced and otherwise, before the Swoosh fires back with multiple colorways of the Nike Vomero Premium. The Air Force 1 Low “Satin Lace” and Dunk Low “Pink Blast” take us the distance in lifestyle, while the Air Jordan 11 Low “Blackout” Cleat brings formal tones to the turf.
(Note that releases for the Bad Bunny Ballerina Flamboyan, adidas AE1 Low Cleat, and adidas Believe That are all reported but unconfirmed at the time of this writing.)

May 1st in basketball has plenty from the Swoosh: the Nike Sabrina 3 “Mint Chocolate,” Nike Sabrina 3 “Welcome to Miami,” Nike Ja 3 “Zero Gravity,” Jordan Luka 5 “Familia” and Luka 77 “Familia” offer an all-hands celebration of Beaverton’s signature athletes

May 2nd, after a ton of general releases, clears out for a host of A-list heat. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Banned” is first up, the debut of the mythological concept on the low cut. The Edison Chen CLOT Mundial + Samba celebrates the World Cup with espadrille tooling, while the Nike Ja 3 “Jurassic Park” series closes in metallic silver. The start of the Nike A’Two journey is next, before two more Swoosh collabs round out our picture: the NIGO Air Force 1 Low drops exclusively via Human Made and Undercover sites, while the Bluetile SB Dunk Low hits skate shops.
