Arguably no brand has been more crucial to Salomon’s ascension than Maison Margiela – a stamp of validation only a legacy name of that caliber can provide. The French ski/sneaker label and the avant-garde luxury imprint have evolved beyond standard collaborators, now boasting dozens of releases, many of them true co-designed efforts rather than simple color updates.
The latest MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon drop is split into two parts: one familiar, one entirely new. First up is the return of the XT-MM6, Margiela’s take on the ubiquitous XT-6, arriving in three new colorways: Black/Black, Sunny Lime/Black, and Asparagus Green/Gull. The bigger headline is the debut of the all-new Salomon Cross Dust – a rugged trail model equipped with aggressive traction and a protective shroud. MM6’s versions, offered in Vanilla Ice/Eucalyptus and Black/Black, feature Maison Margiela’s iconic numeric tag system across the shroud, with the circled “6” denoting the diffusion line.
The new MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collection releases April 29th via MM6 and Salomon. The Cross Dust is priced at $495, while the XT-MM6 retails for $480. See official images of each style below alongside direct purchase links.
