adidas Anthony Edwards Believe That 1 Release Date

Anthony Edwards is back on the floor, and adidas is matching that moment with a new chapter in his signature line. After being cleared for Game 1 of the Conference Semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs, Edwards became the focus of adidas’ latest “ANT MAN IS BACK” campaign, which also introduced the adidas Anthony Edwards Believe That 1.

The new model takes its name from Edwards’ well-known “Believe That” catchphrase, giving adidas Basketball a more affordable option under his growing signature series. The ad leans into a rap mixtape-style theme, complete with narration from Atlanta DJ Swamp Izzo, tying Edwards’ personality, confidence, and Atlanta roots into the launch.

the adidas Anthony Edwards Believe That 1 keeps a familiar shape inspired by the AE 1 Low, but it changes several key details. The side panels replace the honeycomb-style TPU support wing with ventilation windows, giving the shoe a cleaner takedown look. Dreamstrike cushioning also replaces Light Boost, helping lower the price while keeping the model performance-focused.

Launch colorways include Core Black, Footwear White, Solar Turbo, Carbon Grey, With Love, and Velocity Blue. Several pairs pull from past AE 1 themes, giving fans familiar color stories across a new silhouette built for a lower price point.

The adidas Anthony Edwards Believe That 1 releases May 7th at adidas.com and select retailers. Adult sizing will retail for $100, while grade school pairs will be priced at $80.
