The several fresh 2000s-inspired models New Balance has introduced in recent seasons suggest the brand is searching for its next big mainstream hit. For now, though, the New Balance 1906R remains at the top of the hill, continuing to earn a spot in rotations thanks to its comfort and seemingly endless colorway options.
This upcoming “Castlerock” colorway shapes up as a solid option for the summer months, featuring a neutral grey mesh base, white leather overlays, and bright pink pops on the ABZORB SBS cushioning and inner tongue. Not bad.
