Nike LeBron 23 “Closing Ceremony” PE

LeBron James added another headline to his playoff sneaker run with a Nike LeBron 23 “Closing Ceremony” PE. The pair surfaced during Game 3 against Oklahoma City, giving fans a new player-exclusive look with clear ties to one of his most memorable Kith collaborations.

The design pulls inspiration from the Kith x Nike LeBron 15 “Closing Ceremony” from 2018. That earlier release stood out with a black base, gold lion graphics, vine details, and red rose accents. Nike brings that same luxury feel onto the LeBron 23, using stitched floral and crown-like graphics across the upper.

Black covers most of the shoe, including the leather overlays, tongue, laces, midsole, and outsole. Meanwhile, gold embroidery and red rose details add contrast across the toe box and side panels. The result feels like a modern playoff PE built around one of LeBron’s most detailed past releases.

The “Closing Ceremony” name also adds another layer to the story. With the Lakers facing a tough playoff series against OKC, some fans quickly connected the theme to ongoing retirement speculation. However, the shoe appears more like a creative nod to LeBron’s Kith history than a confirmed message about his future.

The Nike LeBron 23 “Closing Ceremony” PE is not expected to release to the public. For now, the pair remains an exclusive on-court style made for LeBron James.
