Tony Yayo has confirmed that Reebok G-Unit Sneakers are expected to return in July 2026. The update came during his appearance on The Real Report podcast with Uncle Murda, giving fans the first clear sign that the early-2000s hip-hop sneaker line is coming back.

The return would mark the first major retail comeback for the G-Unit footwear series in nearly two decades. Originally launched during 50 Cent’s Reebok era, the line became one of the clearest examples of rap culture moving directly into mainstream sneaker retail.
Reebok’s G-Unit partnership was a major commercial moment at its peak. The sneakers reportedly generated more than $80 million in their first year, showing how powerful artist-led footwear could be when hip-hop’s influence was rapidly growing across fashion, music, and streetwear.
The timing also fits today’s renewed interest in early-2000s style. Baggy denim, throwback tracksuits, retro basketball shoes, and nostalgic rap-era fashion have all found new life with younger fans. Bringing back G-Unit gives Reebok a recognizable story from that period.
Reebok has already been leaning back into that lane with projects tied to Pharrell’s BBC Ice Cream legacy. A G-Unit revival adds another familiar name to the brand’s nostalgia-driven strategy, especially for fans who remember when the sneakers were everywhere.
Full launch details have not been announced yet. However, the Reebok G-Unit 6G is expected to be part of the return, with colorways, pricing, and availability likely to surface closer to the July 2026 rollout.
