The Nike SB Dunk Low “Green Patent” appears to be gearing up to be one of Nike SB’s slickest releases this Holiday 2026. First look photos of the dunk reveal the skate staple wrapped head to toe in dark green patent leather. The material gives the entire shoe a reflective sheen that looks more curated for impressing fellow collectors than grip tape.
Completing the color story are metallic gold accents placed on the Swoosh and heel tab. The seemingly contrasting hits of gold help the Dunk stand out from your typical suede and leather SB Dunk releases immediately.
That gold-and-green color scheme being featured on this SB Dunk “Green Patent” may be a homage to LeBron James’ time at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. A subtle lion-and-crown embroidered detail found on the tongue loop reinforces that idea. While we wait on Nike to possibly provide a concrete backstory, that prospective detail will have to sit in rumor city for now.
Another quirky detail found on the Dunk sample is the inclusion of cork insoles. This added material gives the sneaker a feel that is contrary to your average SB Dunk release. It could also mean that the sneaker leaves out the supplemental Zoom Air cushioning that Nike SB models typically use.
Nike SB has allowed the Dunk Low to venture out of the traditional skate silhouette before. Whether it be high gloss colorways or thematic releases that play into a story, some Dunk Low releases are clearly meant to start conversations.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Green Patent” is rumored to release Holiday 2026 for $130. Remember these are just sample photos so more information will be released as Nike SB progresses with the release.
