The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Stars” brings texture to the otherwise clean AF1 offering in all-black for Summer 2026. Styled in Black/Metallic Silver, the sneaker retains the iconic low-top silhouette, but uses embossed star graphics to add some interest to the upper.
Black leather makes up most of the shoe, spanning the toe, overlays, Swoosh, heel tab, tongue and laces. Stars are embossed into the leather as opposed to being painted on top like most versions we’ve seen this season. The graphic feels integrated into the shoe’s design as opposed to standing out. At a distance, it can almost look like a Triple Black Air Force 1. Upon closer inspection, however, is where the star pattern really makes the sneaker stand out.
The Metallic Silver accents are used sparingly, save for a small lace dubrae cutout in the shape of a star. This adds just enough contrast to make the shoe pop, without taking away from its dark aesthetic. Nike Air branding is written on the shoe’s insoles, while the heel branding is left black and blends in with the back of the tab.
Completing the design is a black midsole and rubber outsole. Continuing Nike’s trend of fully-black sneakers, there isn’t much color visible from top to bottom.
Nike will release the Air Force 1 Low “Black Stars” later this Summer via Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price has not been revealed.
