The Air Jordan 1 Triple Stack looks different right away. Three sole units sit under the shoe, changing the stance more than the upper ever could. It’s a move that feels planned, not playful.
Nothing drastic happens above the tooling. Jordan Brand doesn’t mess with the upper much. It’s still the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, oversized Swoosh and all. The tongue switches to corduroy, and the Wings logo gets stitched instead of printed.
That’s where the shoe starts to feel more considered. Handwritten-style graphics appear on the tongue tag and insoles. Small detail, but it adds personality. Compared to past platform Jordan 1s, this one feels built with intent instead of decoration.
Three women’s colorways lead the release. Sail/Coconut Milk-Anthracite, Psychic Blue/White-Sail, and Team Red/Pale Ivory-Sanded Gold keep things restrained. The colors don’t compete with the shape.
