Nike’s stable of premium runners continues to show off more personality as the three vertical initiative enters year two. Following Realtree overhauls of the whole family and spirituality-focused versions of their racing offerings, the Nike Vomero Premium odes to New Orleans with a “FDL” colorway.

You’ll spot the biggest shift in the uppers, where Fleur de Lis embroidery dots across the mesh foundation, blending in by copping light beige tones atop an equally earthy brown backdrop. Additionally, the “Vomero Premium” plate that typically defines this silhouette gets an embroidered makeover as well. All told, this is likely a nod to the historic brick and wood compositions you’ll spot in the French Quarter, with the azure shades embedded in the sky-high sole likely a reflection of its riverside vistas.
