Social Status is expanding The Whitaker Group’s upcoming Nike V5 RNR project with two new collaborative styles set to arrive in Spring 2026. The reveal follows early looks at A Ma Maniére’s version, confirming that this rollout is part of a broader, multi-retailer effort rather than a one-off release.
Originally introduced in early 2025, the Nike V5 RNR was positioned as a budget-friendly running option, retailing at $90. Its accessible price point and familiar design language helped it gain traction as an alternative to models like the Vomero 5, making it a strong foundation for collaborative storytelling.
Social Status approaches the silhouette with two distinct directions. One pair leans into a clean “Geode Teal” finish, keeping things minimal and tonal. The second design takes a more layered route, combining a White mesh base with Shadow Berry Swooshes and iridescent Deep Pewter Blue overlays across the forefoot. The mix of materials and color creates a more expressive look that aligns with the retailer’s creative identity.
This release is part of a wider push from The Whitaker Group, which includes A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB, and JAIDE. Each retailer is expected to bring its own interpretation to the V5 RNR, adding variety to the lineup while keeping a unified theme.
