Adidas Skateboarding’s Glenburn gets pulled into soccer territory with Thrasher Magazine honoring their Argentina roots. The Thrasher x adidas Glenburn “Argentina” is expected to release June 1st through adidas and select skate shops, priced at $85 USD in unisex sizing.
Upper is covered in black leather, which gives the shoe a more minimalist/workwear inspired aesthetic than your average team inspired shoe. Argentina blue is featured but takes a backseat underneath the leather panels, appearing in smaller accents rather than taking charge of the colorway.
Cream laces, Three Stripes, and heel detailing help break up the darker build. The Argentina FA badge appears on the tongue, while three gold stars on the heel tab nod to the country’s World Cup titles.
Thrasher keeps its part of the design tucked toward the back. “Thrasher Revista” is pressed into the black suede under the heel stars, giving the shoe a Spanish-language detail that makes sense within the Argentina theme.
