Low-cut shoes are slowly starting to make a comeback, and ASICS dives into the trend once again with a sleeker option. Arriving this Spring of 2026, the Hypersync is offered in two schemes that come off pretty deliberate.
The first colorway dives into a darker color scheme, constructed with an engineered meshupper that sports a muted gray/black shade. Transparent black accents are placed strategically throughout the shoe, including on the mudguard and forefoot to provide reflectivity without overpowering. Running along the sides are silver/grey stripes, paired with a metallic touch to the heel tab for just enough pop. Pinholes towards the rear of the shoe provide ventilation, while the circular patterned outsole maintains a simplistic traction design.
The other colorway goes in a different direction. A metallic silver upper leads the way, balanced out by light grey mesh on the toe. Red accents land around the collar and heel, adding contrast that stands out without taking over. The stripes stay clean in white, and underfoot, a cream sole brings in a softer finish that slightly shifts the overall tone.
There’s a clear focus here on keeping things lightweight and close to the ground without losing structure.
