Spend enough time inside a gym and you start noticing what works on feet and what doesn’t. That real-world movement is clearly part of the thinking behind the Klutch Athletics x New Balance AC Runner, a new training silhouette scheduled to launch April 2, 2026.
The pair keeps things simple but sharp. A black engineered mesh upper carries a dotted pattern that almost ripples across the surface as the shoe curves toward the midfoot. An outlined N logo stretches across the side panel, while the tongue holds a circular Klutch Athletics badge that quietly stamps the collaboration.
Underneath, the tooling does most of the talking. Most of the conversation comes from the tooling here. Fresh Foam X cushioning lies within a carved midsole you can see through the small oval cut out near the heel. The silhouette itself appears almost liquid molded to help cushion your landing while keeping the platform planted during lifts and quick foot movements. An embossed outsole with strategically placed grooves takes care of traction and flexion.
Campaign shots place the model in a training space, where athletes are stretching and warming up. The setting makes the intent clear: this release leans toward gym performance more than traditional running.
Spring ’26 also welcomes 17 apparel items accompanying the drop. Tanks, mesh shorts, woven jackets, and training bras.
