Timed to the 30th anniversary of Space Jam, the Air Jordan 11 of the same title returns this December, now offering our best look yet via retailer studio shots.

It’s tough for any Jordan Retro colorway to rival OG pairs if it wasn’t included in the silhouette’s initial run, but between its timeless colorway and ties to arguably Mike’s biggest off-court adventure, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is squarely on the model’s Mount Rushmore. It’s why we’ve seen four total releases for this particular pair, this 2026 edition marking the first since 2016.

Like that last release aligning with the 20th birthday of Mike and Bugs’ feature film, this year’s pair comes about for the 30th anniversary. In kind, there are several details that distinguish the version at hand from ones we’ve seen in the past. Horizontal “JUMPMAN JAM” text on the tongues, a return to “23” branding on the heels, and royal blue coloring on the stitched Jumpmans and the outsole pods are the most notable aspects, though of course this carries the updated shape we’ve seen in recent AJ11 launches.

Certainly the Air Jordan 11 is the crown jewel for any Space Jam fanatic, but it’s far from the only homage coming out of Beaverton in 2026. The Air Jordan 11 “Monstars” (or “Green Screen”) will see a colorway tooled to the movie’s antagonists, while the Jordan 9 “Space Jam” checks off another pair given plenty of screen time in the ’96 classic.
