Devin Booker continues to expand his growing catalog of player exclusives with a new Nike Book 2 “BYU Cougars” PE, and this one moves away from his usual Kentucky ties. While Booker has long embraced his Wildcat roots, his recent PE run has leaned into a broader range of college-inspired colorways, including schools that aren’t directly connected to his past.
This latest version taps into BYU’s identity, arriving in a bold royal blue finish that dominates the upper. The design is paired with subtle silver accents and branding, giving the shoe a clean but eye-catching contrast. Built on a mesh construction inspired by Nike’s Spiridon line, the sneaker blends performance structure with a lightweight, breathable feel.
The college theme fits the timing with March Madness around the corner, as Booker keeps using his signature line to highlight NCAA programs. It also marks a shift from the Book 1 era, where the storytelling pulled from a broader mix of Nike heritage, personal references, and lifestyle inspiration.
Even so, Booker’s influence in the PE space remains strong. After debuting over 100 variations during the Nike Book 1 run, the early stages of the Book 2 already show a focused direction, with college programs playing a major role.
Like most of his exclusives, the Nike Book 2 “BYU Cougars” PE is not expected to release to the public. Still, it offers another look at how Booker is using his signature line to connect basketball culture with collegiate energy.
