A new rollout from SNIPES and adidas is putting more than just a sneaker into focus. Built around care, confidence, and self-expression, the campaign for the SNIPES x adidas Adistar Control 5 “Be Loved” takes aim at old ideas around masculinity and shifts the conversation toward something more honest.
That message comes through clearly in “Love Delivered,” a new campaign fronted by Twitch streamer Raud. Framed as a modern-day messenger, he moves through the neighborhood in a kei truck wearing a SNIPES delivery uniform and the new collaborative runner, turning the rollout into something playful, but still grounded in a real point of view.
Color most certainly speaks volumes here. Red, pink and purple blanket the duo in hues that feel somewhat purposeful, especially considering those colors still remain underrepresented in men’s footwear and clothing. The end result is a spirited runner that fully embraces individuality while still retaining its streetwear vibe.
Through the project, Raud aimed to give voice to something many men aren’t always allowed to vocalize, while SNIPES framed the release as a rejection of old expectations. Far exceeding a simple colorway drop, this release marks a newfound direction for the brand, one where offerings and statements go hand-in-hand.
