Nike Has The Perfect Dunks For The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

If you’ve got kids, there’s a good chance they’ve been in your ear about seeing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie over the past few weeks. The movie is quite predictably shaping up as one of the year’s biggest releases, delivering plenty of dopamine for kids and maybe even a hint of nostalgia for parents who grew up on the game series. Call it recency bias, but this upcoming Nike Dunk Low pack feels like a natural fit for superfans.

While obviously not an official collaboration, the pack recalls Mario and Luigi through its color choices. One pair arrives in University Red, while the other favors Lucky Green. You could just as easily frame this as a “Bulls vs. Celtics” duo, but University Gold accents on the red pair make that comparison less exact. Both pairs share identical color blocking, featuring a black base and tongue, white heel, backtab, and midsole, and featured color across the rest of the upper and outsole. Ribbon laces add another layer to the delivery.
