Nike is expanding the Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” idea with another team-based colorway, this time inspired by the Milwaukee Bucks. Rather than revisiting the familiar Charlotte angle again, the concept now looks deeper into the 1996 NBA Draft and imagines what Kobe Bryant’s sneaker legacy might have looked like with other franchises that passed on him.
The Milwaukee Bucks edition keeps the formula clean and sharp. White leather covers most of the upper, while black Swooshes and green accents bring in the team connection. Red details add another hit of contrast, tying the shoe back to the Bucks’ late-1990s uniform colors. An icy outsole finishes the design, while interior “1996 Draft” branding gives the pair its clearest link to the larger theme.
This approach gives the Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” Pack a broader story than past versions. Instead of focusing on one alternate path, Nike appears to be building out multiple what-if colorways for teams that had a chance to take Bryant in the 1996 draft. A Raptors-inspired pair already surfaced earlier, and the Bucks version now adds another chapter to that rollout.
