It’s not every day you see a PE for an athlete whose playing days are in the rear view. Jason Kidd’s focus is bringing the Dallas Mavericks a championship as a coach, but nonetheless he’s still feeling the love from the Swoosh.
Courtesy of @dghoops, a Nike GT Cut 3 PE for Jason Kidd has come to light, truthfully a colorway crafted for the girls’ AAU team bearing his name. The Jason Kidd Select GBB squad matches its neon pink logo with the arrangement on tap here, inspiring the neon magenta body, purple anchoring and white interplay panels on the medial side. The actual logo appears on the tongue, while Kidd’s signature in new age font appears on the vamp. Finally, if its exclusivity wasn’t already crystal clear, a fiery hoops logo on the insole bears “1 of 1” text and confirmation of its “player exclusive” status.
Interestingly, this pair coming to light now contrasts the “SP25” production timeline spelled out on the interior tag. That does, however, help clarify why the (now) last-gen GT Cut 3 is the choice. Catch in-hand images of this AAU edition below.
