In a game that carried playoff implications, Devin Booker delivered a new Player Exclusive that proudly connects his signature line back to one of Nike’s most influential designs.
On-foot, Booker debuted a Player Exclusive of the Nike Book 2 inspired by the iconic Nike Air Max 95 OG “Mandarin”, a silhouette that has already played a pivotal role in shaping the identity of his signature series. As you know the Air Max 95 is significant to Booker as it was his father’s favorite sneaker. That silhouette manifested via several colorways of the Book 1 including the famed “Neon” and even the “Greedy” edition.
On this Book 2, grey suede paneling and layered mesh construction mirror the anatomy-inspired upper of the Air Max 95, while blacked-out tooling grounds the shoe underfoot. The model pops out with hits of mandarin orange on the Swoosh, heel-strip and interior lining.
With Phoenix now locked into the playoffs, expect Booker to debut more PEs as the Suns play out Round 1 against OKC on Sunday.
