It’s mail call time for student-athletes at Jordan-sponsored college programs. The Jumpman is sending out Air Jordan 14 PEs to some of its foremost schools, including Oklahoma, UNC, San Diego State, and now UCLA, the recipients of a masterful blue pair we can only drool over from afar.
The sneaker sticks to the established “Ferrari”-inspired blueprint, featuring a seamless suede upper and carbon fiber detailing along the midsole. A rich, oceanic blue color wraps the upper, while the carbon fiber plate carries a subtle blue tint of its own. The midfoot shank stands out most, rendered in metallic gold so as to align with the UCLA brand kit. Additional gold hits land on the tongue and lace tips, while script UCLA branding appears inside gold-accented side windows. We’re getting some slight Jordan 14 “Laney” vibes, but these are clean as hell even in a class of their own.
Like past PE runs, we expect every Jordan-sponsored college program to eventually receive its own Air Jordan 14 as the year continues. Stay tuned as more pairs surface.
