Now, they’re jumping to the present day of the iconic franchise with an LA version of the shoes, and they’ve called on one of the strongest arms in the major leagues to put the finishing touches on this epic collaboration.
Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto appears on behalf of UNDEFEATED for the West Coast leg of this release. The flamethrower reveals an alternate version of the Chuck 70 dressed in navy blue faux ostrich leather uppers, bridging the Brooklyn Dodgers edition with the modern era. Los Angeles logos appear on the lateral ankle in bold stitching, while the Dodgers’ timeless lettering appears across the tongue. Folded down, you’ll see both symbols proudly displayed on each side.
The Dodgers currently have the building blocks for a modern dynasty in professional sports, and tied to their massive fanbase, this UNDEFEATED x Converse Chuck 70 “Dodgers” is a no-doubter, rounding the bases as the ball hits the upper deck. You’ll be able to get them Saturday, April 25th exclusively through UNDEFEATED in-store (Silver Lake, New York, Phoenix, Las Vegas) and online.
