Nike SB Air Force 1 “Black Gum”

Nike SB’s reworked Air Force 1 has surfaced again, this time in a clean “Black Gum” colorway spotted on-foot by a Nike SB representative. The pair appeared during the Bluetile x Nike SB Dunk Low release event, giving fans an early look at another skate-ready version of the classic model.

Black nubuck covers the upper, keeping the shoe simple while giving it a more durable skate-focused feel. A black Swoosh blends into the side panel, while white detailing appears on the heel tab and midsole. The gum outsole completes the familiar setup, nodding to one of skateboarding’s most reliable color combinations.

The on-foot sighting makes the Nike SB Air Force 1 “Black Gum” feel more connected to Nike SB’s rollout plans. Although the wearer’s pants covered parts of the shoe, the visible details still point to the same retooled build seen on other SB Air Force 1 pairs. Extra padding, a softer shape, and a more relaxed collar appear to separate it from the standard Air Force 1 Low.

Nike SB has been steadily building momentum around the silhouette with several pairs already linked to future drops. “Flax”, “Navy/Black” and “Brown/Black” colorways are expected to join the lineup, while Yuto Horigome’s upcoming collaboration has added even more interest to the model.

Release details for the Nike SB Air Force 1 “Black Gum” have not been announced yet. However, its appearance on a Nike SB representative at the Bluetile event suggests the colorway is already making the rounds within the skate division. More updates should follow as Nike SB continues expanding the Air Force 1s new skate chapter.
