Inspired by cherry blossom season across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, the pair uses a vivid pink upper to connect the futuristic silhouette with one of the area’s most recognizable spring traditions.
Nike coats the molded synthetic upper in a bright Hyper Pink shade, giving the shoe a bold look from every angle. The GT Future’s sculpted lines and flowing ridges add movement across the side panels, while black hits on the Swoosh, tongue, laces, lining, and outsole keep the colorway grounded.
DMV-specific details help separate this pair from a standard pink basketball release. The tongue includes “VA” branding and a “703” area code hit as a nod to Northern Virginia. Meanwhile, the insoles feature pink map graphics, continuing the local theme found throughout Nike’s “Unseen Hours” collection.
