While the YS-01 Slide features a jagged ripple sole, the YS-02 skews more minimal, opting instead for a flat bottom with herringbone traction. The launch colorway comes in all-black, though we suspect other tonal looks aren’t far behind. The goal, as is generally the case with the modern YZY brand, isn’t to reinvent the wheel, but to offer a solid everyday essential at a reasonable price.
Second to the footwear itself is the promise of expedited shipping. While past YZY drops have left buyers waiting by the mailbox longer than anticipated, the brand has confirmed that the YS-02 ships within three to five business days.
